• Children below 5 years old are free of charge.
• Children age between 6 – 12 years 50% of the Meal charges will be applied, i.e.:
Breakfast will be @ approx. AED30 per child per day
Dinner @ approx. AED48 per child per day.
• Children above 12 years will be considered adults,
Extra adult/Extra bed charges will be approx. AED95 per night with BB & approx. AED165 per night with HB.

🌍 Visa Requirements for UAE Residents
Most UAE residents are eligible for an Omani eVisa, which is simple to apply for online. Here’s what you need:
• 10-Day Single-Entry Visa: ~5 OMR (approx. AED 48)
• 30-Day Single-Entry Visa: ~20 OMR (approx. AED 192)
• How to Apply: Visit evisa.rop.gov.om and apply using your passport and UAE residency details. Processing usually takes 1-3 business days.
Tip: Print a copy of the eVisa and carry it along with your passport.

🚗 Travel Requirements (By Car)
Cars and Motorbikes bought through bank loans require NOC from the bank to permit them to cross the borders.
1. Border Crossing: Hatta – Al Wajajah Border Crossing is the most convenient from Dubai. Be sure to have your passport, eVisa, and any additional travel documents handy.
2. Car Insurance for Oman:
o Single-Trip Car Insurance: AED 100-150 (1-2 weeks)
o Most UAE insurance providers offer this coverage as an add-on; please check with your insurer for specific costs and details.
o If your insurance covers Oman you need the orange copy from your insurance to present at the boarders.
Note: Rental cars will need a special permit to cross the border.

🏍️ Motorcycle Insurance for Oman
If you’re planning to travel by motorcycle, insurance is slightly less costly:
• Single-Trip Motorcycle Insurance: AED 50-150 for a 1-2 week stay
Tip: Ensure your policy includes third-party liability coverage for Oman, you will need the orange copy from your insurance to present at Oman boarders.

• 4×4 Vehicle Requirement: Jabal Al Akhdar, a popular nearby attraction, requires a 4×4 to access.
• Currency: While many places accept AED, it’s useful to have some Omani Rials (OMR) on hand. There are ATMs available in Nizwa.
• Local SIM: Consider getting an Omani SIM for convenient local communication and data access.
